Oktoberfest 2026: Celebrating German-Canadian Friendship in Vancouver! 🍻🇩🇪🇨🇦
On October 15, the German Canadian Business Association (GCBA) and the Rotary Club of Vancouver came together for a memorable Oktoberfest celebration at Tap & Barrel’s waterfront location in Vancouver.
With stunning views of Coal Harbour, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of Bavarian Gemütlichkeit, the evening brought together members and guests for meaningful conversations, networking, and new friendships.
A special highlight was an entertaining introduction to Oktoberfest traditions by the GCBA’s Vice President, a Munich native, who shared fascinating facts about the world’s largest beer festival and the many similarities between Munich and Vancouver.
More than just a celebration, the event highlighted the growing partnership between the GCBA and Rotary Club of Vancouver, united by a shared commitment to building strong communities, fostering international connections, and bringing people together.
