On October 8, we welcomed more than 20 attendees to our third GCBA Connect Calgary, this time at the Austrian Canadian Cultural Centre.
The Alpine Room provided a wonderful setting for an evening of networking, with large tables, traditional Austrian music, and even some Schnitzel adding a little European flair to the atmosphere!
What made the evening particularly special was the diversity of people joining us. Alongside familiar faces and GCBA corporate members, we were delighted to welcome many newcomers to our community, including students, professionals, and individuals who had only recently arrived in Canada. Some attendees had arrived as recently as August 6!
It was a great reminder of what GCBA Connect is all about: bringing people together, building meaningful relationships, and creating a welcoming German-Canadian business community where everyone can feel connected.
With no formal agenda or presentations, the evening was all about conversations, exchanging experiences, making new connections, and strengthening existing ones.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and to the Austrian Canadian Cultural Centre for hosting us in such a welcoming setting.
We look forward to continuing to grow our GCBA community in Alberta and welcoming both familiar and new faces at our next gathering!
Not yet part of our community? We would love to meet you at one of our upcoming events!
