Critical Raw Materials as Part of the National Security Strategy for the Canadian and German Economy
The German Canadian Business Association (GCBA), in collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Canada, invites you to save the date for an evening exploring the growing importance of critical raw materials at the intersection of business, economic and national security, resilient supply chains and Canada–Germany cooperation.
As critical minerals become increasingly important to energy, advanced manufacturing, technology and strategic industries, Canada and Germany have an opportunity to strengthen cooperation across resource development, processing, investment and industrial supply chains.
Our discussion will bring together perspectives fromindustry, academia, government and the geopolitical/national-security community to explore what it takes to move from resource potential to secure, commercially viable supply – and what stronger Canada–Germany cooperation could look like in practice.
