We’re fortunate to welcome Realtor Sabine Just to the active GCBA community. She is a dynamic real estate professional with a strong background in business development, education, and leadership.

Professional and Leadership Background

Sabine is a REALTOR® with The O’Brien Group at RE/MAX Select Realty in Vancouver. She helps clients navigate buying, selling, and investing with clarity and confidence. Her approach is grounded in strong relationships, open communication, and deep market knowledge.

Her journey to Canada started with curiosity and a spirit of adventure. After high school in Germany, she moved to New York in the 1990s to work as an au pair. This bold step began her transatlantic path. Later, she interned at the German American Chamber of Commerce in Seattle. There, she supported business connections between Germany and the Pacific Northwest. At the same time, she also contributed articles to the European Weekly, a publication founded in 1965 in Vancouver as Pazifische Rundschau. It served the region’s post-war German-speaking community.

Professionally, Sabine spent nearly 20 years in construction and engineering. She led workforce development and training initiatives across British Columbia. At the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association of B.C. (ICBA), she created and managed Canada’s largest training program for contractors and homebuilders. As Director of Training, she handled strategic planning, curriculum design, and stakeholder engagement. Thanks to her leadership, thousands of professionals across the country stayed competitive and compliant.

Now fully focused on real estate, Sabine brings her energy and entrepreneurial mindset to the Vancouver market. In addition, her background in event planning and business engagement adds value to the GCBA. Since joining, she has supported our business forums and networking events with thoughtful input and contagious enthusiasm.

Outside of work, Sabine continues to give back. She volunteers with Working Gear, a Vancouver-based charity that helps newcomers and job seekers — especially those entering the trades — with proper workwear and support.
